Prize Information
How many tickets are available?
A maximum of 180,000 Home Lottery tickets are available.
Who is (or is not) eligible to purchase tickets?
Ticket orders are only accepted from Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, the United States of America, Singapore, and Canada. Ticket holders must be 18 years or older. The following persons and their immediate family members are ineligible to purchase tickets for themselves or on behalf of any other person: Board Members and Executives of Melbourne Health and the Royal Melbourne Hospital Foundation, and partners and employees of S.O. Can I purchase a ticket if I live interstate or overseas?
This lottery is intended for residents of Victoria, but participation is not limited to them. For a full list of eligible countries (see ‘Who is (or is not) eligible to purchase tickets).
Non-residents of Australia and winners from other states are responsible for any additional taxes, duty, costs or governmental approvals that may be associated with the delivery or transfer of prizes. Additionally, non-residents of Australia should take into consideration the legislative requirements to acquire land in Australia and observe any foreign ownership laws in their own country of residence.
The prizes that we have on offer are awarded to winners as presented and cannot be redeemed for cash. All vehicle prizes include on-road costs plus 12 months of Victorian registration.

How will I receive my tickets?
Tickets are sent directly to the email address you provided when ordering your tickets. You’ll receive an all-in-one email (no links or attachments) that contains your ticket number(s). To ensure you receive your tickets without delay, we recommend adding our email address [email protected] to your safe sender list. This helps prevent our emails from being filtered into your spam or junk folder.
Who can I contact if I no longer wish to receive direct mail, emails or SMS relating to the Home Lottery?

What is your refund policy?
All refund requests must be received in writing to [email protected] by midday the day before a draw. Refunds will be honoured as long as the payment method has been verified, and the corresponding ticket has not been included in any prize draws.
I cannot afford a $100 ticket. How else can I support?
There are plenty of ways you can support the Royal Melbourne Hospital and have the chance to win big:
- Purchase your Home Lottery ticket as part of a syndicate.
- Purchase a Cash Calendar Lottery ticket for just $25, and you could win a share of $150,000 in gold.
- Purchase a Holiday for Life Lottery ticket for just $15, and you could win $100,000 in gold or choose to go on a $5,000 dream holiday for the next 20 years.
Are Home Lottery tickets tax-deductible?
No, tickets purchased are not tax-deductible.
Ticket Information
How many prizes are there, and what are they?
There are 10,010 prizes to win! The total retail value of all prizes is $7,496,219.15.
What is the Early Bird Prize?
Buy your tickets early to go in the draw to win half a million dollars in gold!
The Early Bird deadline is midnight 18 September 2025.
The Early Bird Prize will be drawn on 30 September 2025. Once drawn, your tickets stay in all remaining Home Lottery prize draws for more chances to win.
What are the Bonus Prizes?
Buy your tickets early to enter two Bonus draws for a 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron worth over $115,000.
The Bonus deadline is midnight 10 October 2025.
The Bonus Prizes will be drawn on 16 October 2025. Once drawn, your tickets stay in all remaining Home Lottery prize draws for more chances to win.
Can a ticket purchaser win multiple prizes?
Yes. When you purchase a ticket, you are entered into all subsequent draws! Once a winning ticket is drawn, the winning number is recorded, and the ticket is re-entered into all remaining prize draws.
If I win a prize, can I choose to take cash instead?
All prizes are purchased by the Royal Melbourne Hospital Foundation and must be accepted as awarded; and cannot be redeemed for cash. Negotiations between the prize supplier and the winner may occur, but the Royal Melbourne Hospital Foundation is not part of this process.
Why do you give away gold and gift cards instead of cash?
Due to Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission regulations, we cannot give away cash as a prize. However, gold is the next best thing! Winners will receive a certificate that can immediately be redeemed for cash. Please note that gold selling costs and market variations apply when selling gold bullion.
Are prizes donated?
No, all prizes are purchased by the Royal Melbourne Hospital Foundation.
Grand Prize Information
What is the Grand Prize?
The $5.3 Million Grand Prize includes a fully furnished Mazzei home in Camberwell and $50,000 in gold.

Can I visit the Grand Prize home in person?
Yes! The Grand Prize Showhome at 237 Highfield Road, Camberwell will be open for viewing between 1pm-5pm on Wednesdays, weekends and public holidays, from Wednesday 20 August to Wednesday 22 October. We hope you can view this stunning home in person.

If I win the Grand Prize, do I have to move in? How soon do I get the keys? Can I sell it?
It generally takes a few weeks before the settlement is complete. The winner can move in as soon as the settlement has occurred. The winner does not have to keep the home for a minimum period and can choose to sell the home at any point after settlement.
If I win, what do I have to pay for?
As a Royal Melbourne Hospital Home Lottery Grand Prize winner, you are awarded your new home free and clear of any encumbrances. All fees involved with property transfer, such as stamp duty and title taxes will be paid for by the Royal Melbourne Hospital Foundation.
After you take the title of your new home, you will be responsible for the usual costs associated with homeownership.
Non-residents of Australia and winners from other states are responsible for any additional taxes, duty, costs or governmental approvals that may be associated with the delivery or transfer of prizes. What does it mean to become a Home Lottery Member?
Active Home Lottery Members enjoy reserved tickets in every draw, so you’ll never miss out because of an early sell out. You'll also receive early access to exclusive events and prize draws.
Members who hold a valid ticket in the Royal Melbourne Hospital Home Lottery and an active Membership to all future Home Lotteries as of midnight 24 October 2025, will be entered into the exclusive Membership draw for $100,000 in gold. *
Joining is easy – there's no fee to become a Member, and you can adjust your Membership at any time. Simply tick the 'Become a Member' box when ordering Home Lottery tickets, and we will reach out before each lottery to confirm your order.

Draw Dates
When are the draws?
The Early Bird Draw is conducted at 7:00am on 30 September 2025.
The Bonus Draws are conducted at 7:00am on 16 October 2025. *
The Final Draws are conducted at 7:00am on 30 October 2025.
The Cash Calendar Lottery Draws are conducted at 7:00am on 27 November 2025.
The Holiday for Life Lottery Draw is conducted at 7:00am on 27 November 2025.
*If all Home Lottery tickets are sold before the Bonus Deadline on 10 October 2025, all Home Lottery draws will be conducted early on 16 October 2025.
How and where are the draws conducted?
The draws are conducted using a random number generator under the supervision of Deloitte at their offices on 477 Collins Street, Melbourne, and are in accordance with Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission regulations.
When and where are the winning results published?
A complete list of Home Lottery winners will appear at www.rmhHomeLottery.com.au on 30 October 2025. If all tickets are sold before the Bonus Deadline on 10 October 2025, all draws will be conducted early and winners will be available online on 16 October 2025.
Winners of the Cash Calendar Lottery and Holiday for Life Lottery will appear at www.rmhHomeLottery.com.au on 27 November 2025.
Will I be notified if I win a prize?
All winners will be notified in writing by Deloitte with instructions on how to claim their prize. If you win the Grand Prize, Early Bird Prize, Bonus Prizes, a vehicle, a holiday or the Membership Prize, you will also receive a phone call shortly after the draws are conducted.
What happens if I don't answer my phone?
If your ticket number wins a prize, you have won, regardless of whether you missed our call.
We will continue attempting to contact you to advise you of your win (see 'Will I be notified if I win a prize?' for the list of major prizes). If you do not answer your phone, we will attempt to contact you with the additional contact information you provided when you placed your ticket order.
How can I tell if I’ve legitimately won a prize in the Home Lottery?
If you’re a winner in the Home Lottery, we will contact you directly – never through unsolicited links or requests for payment in order to claim a prize. If we need to verify any details, we’ll contact you by phone using the number you provided when you purchased your ticket. If you receive a message that seems suspicious, do not click any links - instead reach out to us directly or check our official winners list published at www.rmhHomeLottery.com.au.
How long do I have to claim my prize?
All prizes must be claimed within twelve months of the draw date. We will make multiple attempts to contact winners to ensure they have received their prize.
What happens to unclaimed prizes?
If a prize remains unclaimed after twelve months and all attempts to contact the winner have been exhausted, the Royal Melbourne Hospital Foundation must sell the prize and distribute the proceeds to the Victorian Government.
How are lottery proceeds used?
Proceeds from the Home Lottery, Cash Calendar Lottery, and Holiday for Life Lottery help ensure the Royal Melbourne Hospital is always there when it’s needed most and continues providing world-class care to patients every day. Thank you for your generosity.
Other Ways to Win
What is the Cash Calendar Lottery?
The Cash Calendar Lottery is a separate lottery. For just $25, you will be entered into six draws to win cashable gold bullion! The first prize is $100,000 and there are five more prizes of $10,000.
A maximum of 143,620 Cash Calendar Lottery tickets are available. Tickets start at just $25 each, or they can be purchased in packs of five for $60, eight for $85, or twelve for $110.
What is the Holiday for Life Lottery?
The Holiday for Life Lottery is a separate lottery. For just $15, you will be entered into the draw to win $100,000 in cashable gold bullion, or choose to go on a $5,000 dream holiday for the next 20 years.
A maximum of 261,705 Holiday for Life Lottery tickets are available. Tickets start at just $15 each, or they can be purchased in packs of five for $30, fifteen for $55, or thirty for $80.
Dedicated Sustainability
Is sustainability a consideration in your Home Lottery?
We are committed to the continued improvement of sustainable measures in all aspects of housing, prizing, and marketing.
Each Grand Prize home is carefully considered from design to construction, with bespoke solutions to maximise efficiency and minimise environmental impacts. High-efficiency appliances and solar panels have also been selected to reduce energy use.
Vehicles in our prize list are selected to include electric and hybrid models, offering a more cost-efficient way to travel while reducing environmental impact.
The paper used for marketing material is 100% recyclable. It is produced from certified plantation forests with a fully auditable life cycle from harvest, to pulping, to final production and transport. Printing plates are recycled through the aluminium reclaimed collection process, and ink is also subject to a life cycle compliance from manufacture to final use on press.
